Latest NEET 2018 News : CHENNAI: A petition was filed in the Madras High Court on Wednesday seeking a direction to the CBSE for re-allotment of NEET examination centres for candidates from Tamil Nadu who were assigned centres outside the state.
First Bench comprising Chief Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice Abdul Quddhose posted it for hearing tomorrow before a bench headed by Justice Huluvadi G Ramesh after a mention was made for taking up the matter urgently.Petitioner S Kalimuthu Mylavan, an advocate, submitted that candidates who applied from Tamil Nadu were allotted NEET examination centres in other states and not according to their choice within the state as mentioned in their applications.

NEET Exam 2019 Review

As per the Medical Council of India (MCI), the NEET2019 Syllabus is prepared after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, National Council Of Educational Research And Training (NCERT) and Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE). The MCI prepares the syllabus of NEET 2019 in such a manner to ensure uniformity in medical education across the country and recommends the same for admissions through NEET to about 90,000 MBBS/BDS seats in India. The NEET Syllabus 2019 will be based on topics taught in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) Science Stream in Classes 11 and 12.

NEET 2018 Admit Card Download

Candidates applying for the NEET 2018 UG Examination can download the Admit Card through Online mode by visiting NEET official website i.e. www.cbseneet.nic.in. The Admit Card is expected to be released by the third week of April 2018. For the convenience of the candidates.

Steps on How to Download NEET 2018 Admit Card.

·         The official website https://cbseneet.nic.in/cbseneet/Welcome.aspxwill release the Authority.
·         The applicants will be issued Admit Cards in April 2019.
·         Take admit card print outs.
·         They are required to take admit card along with them during examinations.
·         Exam date, reporting time, venue of the exam, exam duration all details are provided on Admit cards.

 

NEET 2019 Syllabus

·         The syllabus is based on a common syllabus prescribed by the MCI (Medical Council of India). The syllabus have topics from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology subjects.
·         It has been prescribed after the review of various state syllabus as well as CBSE, NCERT & COBSE. The syllabus is based on the 11th & 12th class standard.
·         Note: As per the official site, the Syllabus of NEET(UG), 2019 is exactly same as it was for NEET(UG), 2019. There is no change in the syllabus for NEET(UG), 2019.

About : NEET(UG) – 2019 : As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 as amended in 2018 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2018, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG), 2019 (NEET-UG-2019) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
