GSET 2018 Official Notification (Gujarat State Eligibility Test) Exam Date, syllabus
Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara State nodal agency for conducting Gujarat State Eligibility Test has invited applications for GSET 2018. Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2018 is scheduled to be held on 30 September 2018 for 24 Subjects at 11 centres across the state of Gujarat. The candidates eligible Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2018 can apply in the prescribed format on or before 15 May 2018.
GSET 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification: The candidates must have Master’s Degree recognized by U.G.C., in a subject of GSET. The candidates having Post Graduate diploma / certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree / diploma / certificate awarded by the Foreign University / Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence *of their diploma / degree / certificate, with Master’s degree of recognized Indian Universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi (www.aiu.ac.in) (* Such candidates who qualify SET will be required to submit equivalence certificate from AIU, immediately after the result of the SET examination) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC (on the website:https://www.ugc.ac.in in Sciences, Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications are eligible for GSET Examination. The Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer / Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / PwD (PH – Physically Handicapped / VH – Visually Handicapped) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for GSET Examination. GSET 2018 Exam Important Dates
· Starting of Fee Collection: 09th April 2018
· Last day for Fee Collection: 14th May 2018
· Starting of Online Registration: 09th April 2018 (Morning 11.00 hrs)
· Last day for Online Application Submission: 15th May 2018 (till – evening 06.00 hrs)
· Date of Examination: 30th September 2018

The candidates must read the ‘ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA’ carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for GSET Examination 2018 before filling the online application and depositing examination fee. GSET 2018 Exam Syllabus :
Syllabus for GSET Examination will be the same as UGC / CSIR NET. Syllabus for all Gujarat SET (GSET) subjects can be downloaded from the GSET Website www.gujaratset.ac.in . GSET Agency, Vadodara will not send the syllabus to individual candidates.
GSET 2018 Admit Card :
Candidates need to download GSET 2018 Admit Card will be available to the eligible candidates who successfully registered probably from the 2nd week of September 2018. The applicants can obtain the admit card online through official website https://www.gujaratset.ac.in. Enter your important details like registration number /DOB. Take the print out of downloaded admit card and bring the same while appearing on the exam center at starting examination.
